TestimonialsI have personally known Jim and Karen Michael of Stonegate Sabbatical Ministries for over two years now. Recently I invited them to speak at our church on the subject of prayer. The presentation was well done and addressed some of the needs that our fellowship needed to hear. I would recommend their ministry to any church that is interested in learning more about prayer. It's not often we have spiritually mature, qualified saints who freely give of their time to reach out to our performing artists. The cast often needs words of encouragement to help them to continue to press on as they present the Gospel live on-stage night after night. They need much prayer and a listening ear, which you both so graciously offered. Due to show schedules and only one day off most do not have loving Shepherds to care for them. The counsel you provided to each individual was priceless. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring for this special group of people. The anointing on you prayers as the Word went forth brought power from on high. Thank you for being our Miracle in a time of need. Jim and Karen Michael are a rare and special couple, passionate for the things of God. I first met Jim at a pastors's prayer retreat. Just moments after we met, he was praying for me personally, and interceding on behalf of the church where I served. Since then, both Jim and Karen have loved me, fed me, encouraged me, interceded for me, and supported me in my role as a worship leader and brother in Christ. Jim and Karen long to know the Lord and to make Him known to others. They love the Church of Jesus Christ, and I believe they are uniquely called to equip and encourage the Saints of God for works of love and kingdom service. I am thrilled to see what the next chapter of their lives will bring.
It gives me great pleasure to recommend Jim and Karen Michael to you. I met Jim several years ago at a prayer seminar. A short time later I met his lovely wife. We became friends because of a common interest in using the power of prayer. Eventually, as a leader in my church and synod, I was instrumental in procuring them to do a prayer seminar, The Churches Secret Weapon, for a weekend retreat for women. This seminar provided a "breakthrough" for several of the women in their spiritual journey. Jim and Karen were also by my husband's bedside during his last days on this earth. Jim's powerful prayer helped him to live a few more days, enabling all of his children and grandchildren to say goodbye. Jim and Karen are called for mighty work!

Jim and Karen have a unique ability to accept and touch people right where they are. They are FOR REAL! Their love and compassion for every person they come into contact with is both genuine and inspiring. Their servant heart is the picture of Christ's hands and feet to the body. Their desire is to touch people through Christ every day and see God set people free from their bondages. Their passion is to see the church on fire for God. They are truly awesome servants of God!
Thank-you so much for treating us to "breakfast" last night. That was so generous of you! And many more thanks for your care and ministry to us in prayer and Godly counsel. It was exactly what we needed! We so enjoyed getting acquainted and bonding with you both thru our time of fellowship together. There is no doubt in our minds that this was a "divine appointment". In God's perfect timing we may discover the extent of His purposes in allowing our lives to intersect. Praise God we are both feeling so encouraged today. It's a great feeling! We feel much more "back on track" (And I was able to enjoy reading the Word this morning by the way!) God has called you two to a very special, much needed ministry.
